CONWAY, Ark. – The William Woods University women's basketball team was outscored 23-12 in the final 10 minutes of the game to fall to Central Baptist College in overtime, 62-60.
The Owls drop to 3-8 on the season and 1-4 in conference play.

The Owls have a two-week hiatus through the holiday. They return to the floor for their final game of the calendar year on Friday, Dec. 30, at Benedictine College (Kan.). Tip-off is slated for 5:30 p.m.

Katie Keilholz lit up the three-point line with seven threes for a career-high 21 points. She went 3-for-3 from the three-point line in overtime alone.

Sydney Booker pulled down a season-high 15 boards with 14 coming from the defensive end.
Mariah Prince put up a career-high 15 points while shooting 6-for-14 from the field.

Sydney Booker came up one point shy of a double-double.

Jersee Wren dished in a floor-high eight assists.

The Owls closed out the first quarter with a 7-0 run to take a six-point lead, 13-7.
They continued to hold the lead, and back-to-back layups with an and-one from
Macie Edwards late in the second quarter gave the Owls a nine-point lead with just over a minute remaining, 27-18. CBC scored the final points of the half, sending the Owls into halftime with a six-point lead, 27-21.
Just under three minutes into the second half, CBC cut the game to two, but the Owls maintained possession of the lead. At the end of the 10 minutes, the Owls lead by three, 40-37.
With 5:06 on the clock in the fourth quarter, Booker hit an in-the-paint jumper to put the Owls up by nine, but CBC pushed a 10-1 run in the final two and a half minutes of the game to even the score and send the game into overtime, 49-49.
Katie Keilholz came out and hit a three to begin overtime, and her third three-pointer of the period put the Owls up by five with two minutes to play, 60-55. That was the last time the Owls managed to score, and CBC put together a 7-0 run with five points coming off free throws to hand the Owls a 62-60 loss.
