FULTON, Mo. – Emmy Blevins of Forsyth High School signed with William Woods University softball as 3rd basemen and utility player, announced Head Coach
Tracy Gastineau.
"Emmy is a versatile athlete having played third base and catcher most recently in her high school career," stated Gastineau. "She is a good student and when she visited campus, I immediately felt she would be a good fit within our culture. We are looking forward to her being a part of WWU softball for the next four years."
Blevins was a four-year varsity member of the Forsyth High School Panthers' softball team. In the 2021 season with the Panthers, she helped lead her team to District championships- Class 4 District 2. She finished her career with fielding average of .889 and batting average of .362
Throughout her stellar four-year career, she was named 2nd Team All-Region 2021-2022, 1st Team All - District 2021-2022, 2nd Team All-District 2020-2021, and 2nd Team All-Conference 2020- 2021-2022.
Blevins, the daughter of Cara and Toby, intends to major in Athletic Training and Kinesiology while at Woods.
