Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. – The no. 20 William Woods University men's tennis team fell to NCAA Division II Washburn University Sunday afternoon, 5-2. The Owls drop to 1-3 on the season.
Washburn won the doubles point, 2-0.
In singles play,
Vaclav Schneider won in the no. two spot, 6-3, 6-2.
Vitek Subert grabbed the other point in the no. five spot, 6-3, 3-6, 10-7.
Next up for the Owls is a match versus RV McPherson College on Friday, Feb. 25. The two will play at 4 p.m. at the Northland Racquet Club in Kansas City, Mo.
