Box Score 2 LEAVENWORTH, Kan. – The William Woods University softball team swept University of Saint Mary (Kan.) Wednesday afternoon. The Owls won 9-4 in game one, and then 10-5 in the second game. The team improve to 4-6 on the season.
The Owls will get back on the field at the Gulf Coast Invitational on Saturday, Mar. 5 at 7:30 p.m. versus Louisiana Christian University.

"We are starting to gel a little more on the field which is good to see early. We have had a lot of different people step up which is also promising. Annika had a great day at the plate driving in 6 of our 10 runs in game two."
Game One
The Owls won 9-4 against the Spires in game one.
Sarah Randermann (3-2) was credited with the win on the mound. She pitched 7.0 innings and struck out nine while allowing six hits and four runs.
Game Two
The Owls won 10-5 against the Spires in game two.
Alexis Hassler was credited with the win on the mound. She pitched 5.1 innings and struck out two and gave up all five runs.
