ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The William Woods University women's basketball team had a rough first half on the road Thursday evening, leading to their loss at University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (UHSP). Their 71-51 loss drops the Owls to 5-14 on the season with a 3-9 conference mark.

The Owls look to snap their losing streak on Saturday, Jan. 28, at Hannbial-LaGrange University. Tip-off is slated for 1 p.m. In their outing earlier this season, the Owls easily defeated the Trojans 63-35.
