COLUMBIA, Mo. – The William Woods University women's basketball team had two rough middle quarters, resulting in a road loss to Columbia College. The 66-41 result brings the Owls to 4-10 on the season with a 2-5 conference mark.

The Owls begin a four-game home stretch on Tuesday, Jan. 10, with a 5:30 p.m. tip-off versus Cottey College.

The Owls were within three just under a minute into the second quarter, but CC pushed a 10-0 run to take a 13-point lead. The Owls were unable to get the game back to single digits.
