No. 23 Women’s Tennis falls to NCAA D2 McKendree

LEBANON, Ill. – The No. 23 William Woods University women's tennis team fell to NCAA Division II McKendree University Saturday evening, 5-2.

The Owls improve fall to 1-4 on the season.

Hanna Lindeboom won 6-3, 6-2 in the one singles.
Lena Greefs grabbed the Owls' only other point in the three singles, 6-4, 7-5.
Marta Calvo Larraz fell 6-2, 5-7, 7-5 in the twos.
Eline Drent dropped 7-6 (6), 6-2 in the four.
Hannah Meyer lost 6-0, 6-0 in the five.
Kaja Brunzlow fell 6-2, 6-0 in the six.

Hannah Meyer and Kaja Brunzlow finished first, ending with a 6-2 loss in the three doubles.
Hanna Lindeboom and Marta Calvo Larraz in the ones finished next, evening the score with their 6-3 win.
Lena Greefs and Eline Drent fought for the tiebreaker in the two spot, but fell 7-6 (7-2).

The Owls host the Winter Smash on Saturday, Feb. 25. They first host Concordia University (Neb.) at 12 p.m.
