NORTH KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The No. 23 William Woods University women's tennis team split on the weekend at their home William Woods Invite. The Owls dropped match one on Saturday to No. 11 St. Thomas University but bounced back on Sunday with a 4-1 win over Oakland City University.
The Owls move to 4-9 on the season.

- The Owls won the doubles point as all three doubles pulled out wins.
- Hanna Lindeboom finished singles play first with a 6-3, 6-3 win in the ones.
- Marta Calvo Larraz put the Owls up 3-0 with her 6-2, 6-1 win in the two singles.
- Lena Greefs swept Mariana Espinosa in the three singles, 6-0, 6-0.
- OCU scored their one point in the five singles with a 6-4, 7-5 win.

The Owls host Newman University on Wednesday, March 15, 12 p.m.
