Box Score 2 ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The (#5) William Woods University men's tennis team breezed through the quarterfinal and semifinals of the Unaffiliated Grouping Tournament Wednesday. The Owls opened the tournament with a 4-0 win over University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy and followed with a 4-0 win over Missouri Valley to send the team to the finals.

The Owls will face (RV) Texas Wesleyan for the 2023 championship on Thursday, April 20, at 10 a.m. The winner earns an automatic bid to the NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship in Mobile, Ala. on May 16-20.

- Robert Schorr and Andres De Los Rios Kolajewska swept their opponent in the three, 6-0.
- The Zinovii Nahirniak and Patrick Shelepov duo clinched the doubles point with their 6-2 win in the two doubles.
- Patrick Shelepov finished singles first with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep in the four.
- Ben Grumley brought the Owls to 3-0 with a 6-0, 6-0 sweep in the two singles.
- Vaclav Schneider clinched the win with his 6-1, 6-0 win in the one. This broke win broke the WWU season combined wins record.
