ST. LOUIS, Mo. – The William Woods University softball team swept Harris-Stowe State University Sunday afternoon in their doubleheader series. The wins leave the Owls undefeated in conference play with a 6-0 record and improves them to 12-17 on the season.
The Owls won game one 8-0 and game two 15-4 in five innings.
- The Owls scored two in the first, three in the second, one in the fifth and two in the seventh.
- The winning run was on a wild pitch in the first inning.
- The Owls posted eight hits coming from six batters. Sydney Wilbeck and Mia Santos each recorded two hits at the plate.
- Taylor Bell brought home two runs with her two-RBI single in the second.
- Pitching: Jessica Keilholz (5-8) pitched the complete game shutout win. She struck out six and allowed just two hits in her shutout victory.

The Owls play a doubleheader at Central Baptist College on Friday, April 7, starting at 1 p.m.
