FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University softball team dropped two games to (RV) Missouri Baptist University Friday afternoon. The Owls move to 15-24 on the season with a 9-7 conference mark.
- The Owls' only two hits on the game were both lead-off doubles from Mariah Prince in the top of the first and Arianna Donovan in the top of the fifth.
- Pitching: Jessica Keilholz (7-11) pitched the complete game and was credited with the loss. She faced 29 batters and allowed seven hits and three runs.
- MBU put up six runs in the first inning and added three more in the third and fourth combined.
- The Owls were held to one hit – a single from Iliana Manzano in the first inning.
- Pitching: Sarah Randermann (7-12) pitched the complete game and was credited with the loss. She struck out two while allowing nine earned runs on 10 hits.

The Owls host Hannibal-LaGrange on Saturday, April 22, starting at 2 p.m. Prior to the games, the team will recognize their six seniors.
