FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University softball team swept Hannibal-LaGrange University Saturday afternoon. Prior to the games, the team celebrated their six seniors.
The Owls move to 17-24 on the season with an 11-7 conference mark.
- The Owls scored two in the first and one in the second – Iliana Manzano batted Mariah Prince in for the first run, Ally Mahoney RBI singled to score Manzano next, and Mia Santos hit a RBI double in the second to score Prince.
- The Owls finished with five hits. Ally Mahoney went 2-3 from the plate with a RBI.
- Pitching: Jessica Keilholz (8-11) pitched the complete game and was credited with the win. She struck out three and allowed just three hits.
- The Owls put up 10 runs on eight hits with five being extra base hits.
- Mariah Prince hit two home runs and a triple to go 3-4 from the plate with four RBI and three runs scored.
- Annika Ramon was all about the threes… She went 3-3 from the plate with three RBI and three runs scored. She was just a home run shy of hitting for the cycle.
- The team had four sacrifice hits in the game – Iliana Manzano (2), Arianna Donovan and Jessica Keilholz.
- Pitching: Jessica Keilholz (9-11) came in as relief and pitched the final 2.0 innings for her second win of the day. Sarah Randermann started on the mound and pitched the first 5.0 innings.

The Owls host Cottey College for their Think Pink game and regular season finale on Tuesday, April 25, starting at 3 p.m.
