FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University softball team split with Cottey College Tuesday afternoon to end regular season play. The games were marked as the annual "Think Pink" games with proceeds going to Kelly Santos, #15
Mia Santos' stepmom, who recently passed away to cancer.
The Owls move to 18-25 on the season and end conference with a 12-8 record. Cottey became regular season co-champions and will now enter the AMC Championship as the one seed.
- The Owls scored three runs on five hits.
- Arianna Donovan went 2-3 from the plate with a double and two RBI.
- Ally Mahoney hit a double with one run scored.
- Pitching: Callie Zarcone (0-1) pitched the complete game and was credited with the loss. With her first time in the circle, she struck out one.

The Owls begin the AMC Championship on Tuesday, May 2. WWU enters the tournament as the five seed and face four-seeded Columbia at 12 p.m.
