The College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) announced the 2022-23 Women's Tennis Academic All-District award winners Tuesday afternoon, and William Woods University's junior
Marta Calvo Larraz and sophomore
Hanna Lindeboom earned the distinct honor.
To be nominated for the All-District Team, a student-athlete must have completed one full calendar year at the institution, be a starter or important reserve and hold at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average at her current institution.
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on June 1.
Marta Calvo Larraz, a junior from Madrid, Spain, holds a 10-13 overall singles record and leads the team with a 19-7 doubles record. Off the court, she is majoring in Business Administration.
Lindeboom, a sophomore from Groningen, Netherlands, leads the team in both singles and doubles, holding a 19-7 record in both. Off the court, she is majoring in Exercise Science with a minor in Mathematics.
