Hanna Lindeboom Named NAIA First Team All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - After finishing the 2023-24 season with a 17-8 singles record and helping the Owls to their eighth-straight NAIA National Championship berth, Hanna Lindeboom earned First Team NAIA All-American honors as announced this week by the association. She is the second William Woods player to earn first team accolades, joining Zlata Shuraeva (2019).

"Hanna has steadily improved every year she's been here but there was a huge jump in her play this year," said head coach Chance Joost. "She's very deserving of this honor and I could not be more proud. Way to go Boom!"

Lindeboom spent the entire season in the Top 25 of the ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings sponsored by Tennis Point, ending the year ranked 14th in singles. She won the 2023 ITA Central West Regional singles title, qualifying for the 2023 ITA Cup.

The junior also excelled in doubles, finishing the year ranked 11th by the ITA alongside partner Marta Calvo Larraz. The paring assembled a record of 16-8 for the 2023-24 season.

Honorees were selected by the NAIA All-America Selection Committee. Sixteen student-athletes were chosen to comprise first, second & third teams.
