FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University Shotgun team turned in a strong showing Wednesday, finishing just four birds behind State Fair Community College with a team score of 464 out of 500 at the WWU Exhibition Shoot.
Leading the way for the Owls were Kaleb Ingram and Landon Schachtele, who both posted impressive scores of 95/100, tying for second overall in the Male High Overall (HOA) division.
On the women's side, Elena Parr continued her standout season, recording an 89/100 to secure second place in Female HOA. Parr, a junior from Old Monroe, Mo., has been at the forefront for the Owls throughout the season.
The Owls' top five finishers — Ingram, Schachtele, Nick Castner, and Hunter Czarnecki-Ball — combined for the team's 464 total, narrowly missing the top spot on the leaderboard.
WWU Shotgun has its sights set on the ACUI Regional competition taking place this weekend in Sparta, Illinois.
