SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The William Woods University shotgun team turned in another strong showing at the Drury Classic Shoot, held September 13–14 in Springfield, Missouri. The Owls collected multiple individual awards and posted impressive team scores across all disciplines.
Junior Elena Parr led the way on the women's side, capturing first place in Sporting Clays with a score of 84/100 and first place in 5-Stand with a score of 45/50.
On the men's side, junior Nick Castner recorded a new personal best in skeet, shooting a 97/100 to tie for third place overall.
The Owls' top five combined for a strong HOA team performance, led by Kaleb Ingram with 314/350. Hunter Czarnecki-Ball and Landon Schachtele each added 300/350, followed by Hayden Wooldridge at 290/350 and Elena Parr at 280/350.
