COLUMBIA, Mo – William Woods Men's team would travel down the road to the Columbia College Cougar Men's Fall Invitational and showed out with all 5 of their teams placing in the top 7 of the Invitational.
The A-team continued its remarkable fall season with another first-place finish, carding rounds of 296 and 294 for a two-day total of 590. Woods E-team would shoot up to a second place as well, and the D-team would finish behind them in fourth place. Team B and C would round out the top 7, and a dominant performance from the Owls program overall.
Spencer Worley led in the leaderboards with a minus-2 finish and was the only golfer in the invitational to finish under par.
Marcos Soria Casaponsa would slide in second place behind his teammate to be one of the driving factors for E-team as he finished just plus 2 over par. Tim Faulk,
Oliver Hienonen, and Joe McCandless would also turn in solid rounds with a plus-5 finish over par, with a parliament of Owls to follow behind them on the leaderboards in a truly dominating fashion.
The Owls are back in action next week for their last tournament of the year as they host the William Woods Fall Invitational at Eagle Knoll Golf Course on October 27
th and 28
th.
