FULTON, Mo. – William Woods Men's golf team placed very well in their home invitational, with all four of the team placing in the top 7, with the B-team taking first overall and the A-team taking home third place in a shortened tournament due to weather.
Job Damen led the Woods B-team, who carded a -3 round to finish second in the individual rankings and lead the B-team to a first-place finish.
Euan Hardie also turned in a great round with a -1 finish, and
Arthur Calmelet with a +2 finish. The A-team took home second, where
Spencer Worley led the individual rankings with a -4 round to help the team to a third-place finish.
Woods C-team and D-team each finished in sixth and seventh place, with
Vilmer Jonsson carding a +2 round to push C-team, and
Chris Cummings carding a +2 round as well to push D-team to the seventh-place finish.
The Owls look to continue their strong spring in Parkville, Missouri, for the Park University Invitational next week, starting on Monday.
