OLATHE, Kan. - The Woods Spirit Programs traveled to MidAmerica Nazarene for their third competition of the season. The Owls achieved a fourth-place overall finish in the event, earning fourth place in round one and third place in round two. The Owls also split in their individual duals, winning against Mt. Mercy and dropping to University of Sain Mary.
"Cheer worked extremely hard this week to focus on the execution side of our score sheet and the team was very successful." said Director of Owl Spirit Toni Snyder. "Reaching our new high score of the season proved to me that we're ready to upgrade our difficulty and prepare a more elite version of our routine before heading to Baker in two short weeks. We're hoping to use this time to get all of our athletes healthy and to continue our stamina work to ensure a strong showing at our last regular season competition of the year."
Woods finishes out their slate of regular season competition at Baker University next weekend.
