#17 Owls Win Fourth Straight, Beat Heart Foe Missouri Valley

Box Score FULTON, Mo. - No. 17 William Woods University (9-5, 2-0 Heart of America Athletic Conference) dominated singles play, taking all but one of the six matchups en route to beating Missouri Valley College (3-4, 0-1) 5-2 in its Heart home opener Saturday at Suzanne Neal Memorial Tennis Complex.

"The energy the guys brought today was unmatched," William Woods tennis coach Abigail Lemberger Hughes said. "We had a rough start and lost the doubles point, but they bounced right back in singles and secured a solid 5-2 victory."
