The fourth Owl to receive the honor in eight weeks, No. 17 William Woods University's Aoi Ooka earned this season's final Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, announced the conference Monday. Picking up nearly every weekly accolade on the year, The Woods received both Heart tennis players of the week for the fifth time, as Kristina Dimitrijevic won women's tennis player of the week for Week 8 (April 14-20).

A committee of athletic communications professionals selected the weekly award winners throughout the conference from a pool of nominees submitted by each school.

Ooka, a freshman from Chiba, Japan, went 2-0 in No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles at the Heart championship, helping the Owls win their first-ever Heart men's tennis conference championship.
