Abigail Lemberger Hughes earned Heart co-coach of the year,
Noah Burton co-newcomer of the year and
Cole Horton freshman of the year, announced the conference Wednesday.
Picking up All-HAAC honors for the Owls were first-team honoree
Robbie Schorr and second-team selections Horton and Burton.
In his final year at The Woods, Schorr, a native of Saipan, U.S. Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, is 10-4 in singles and 9-15 in doubles this season.
One of, if not the top, Class of 2024 recruit in Missouri, Horton, a St. Joseph graduate, owns a 10-7 record in singles and 10-4 in doubles in his first collegiate year.
Burton, a senior transfer to the Owls slotted 54th in the latest ITA NAIA men's tennis singles rankings, has gone 17-9 in singles and 14-15 in doubles in his last college tennis season.
No. 18 seed William Woods will play No. 15/No. 15 seed Dillard University (12-13) in Round 1 of the 73rd Annual NAIA Men's Tennis National Championships at noon CST May 13 at Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Alabama. The winner will turn around and face No. 2/No. 2 seed Tennessee Wesleyan University (14-2) in Round 2 at noon CST May 14.
