No. 20 William Woods University's Kristina Dimitrijevic became the third Owl to receive Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, announced the conference Monday. And in this season's final week, Week 8 (April 14-20), of the weekly Heart tennis accolades, Woods swept the Heart tennis players of the week for the fifth time, with Aoi Ooka named men's tennis player of the week.

A committee of athletic communications professionals selected the weekly award winners throughout the conference from a pool of nominees submitted by each school.

Dimitrijevic helped lead William Woods to its first-ever Heart women's tennis conference championship last week, winning over No. 4 seed Missouri Valley College and (RV)/No. 2 seed Missouri Baptist University.

Against the Spartans, the sophomore from Belgrade, Serbia, earned the doubles point with a 7-6 tiebreaker victory and secured the conference title with her match-ending 6-4, 6-4 singles win.
