Fulton, MO – William Woods University showed up and showed out on their home course, bringing home first place in the tournament at a staggering -29 for the invitational, setting a new school record through 36 holes and shattering the old record of -12 through 36.
This performance by Woods (A team) was driven by
Spencer Worley, who went -9 for the invitational, continuing his dominance for the year. Woods (A team) also saw
Arthur Calmelet go -8,
Tim Falk and
Oliver Hienonen going -4, and
Eliott Auffret rounding it out at -3 to set the record for the Owls.
Woods also saw their B team finish -8, which was good for 3
rd overall, as well as C team finishing -5, which was good for 5
th place. Woods (B team) was led by
Euan Hardie, who also had a great day on the links, finishing -7 for the Owls. While
Victor Vella (C team) led the charge, finishing -6.
Woods are back in Action as they hit the road for Alton, Illinois, for the Missouri Baptist Invitational on October 6th and 7th.
