DES MOINES, Iowa- #20 Women's Tennis, coming off a dominating performance against Grand View University, matched up with #21 Morningside College Monday morning. The Owls took the advantage in the matchup, taking a 4-3 win. 

The Owls took the doubles point winning in #2 doubles before the pair of Chloe Hecker and Bieke Roovers secured the first match point with a win in #3 doubles.  

The Woods took the first singles point in #3 singles when Hecker beat her opponent in straight sets. The Mustangs responded with wins in #2, #1, and #4 singles to take a 3-2 match lead. Manon Grasset leveled the match for The Woods with a huge win over Kailee Bailey in the #5 singles. With all eyes on her, freshman Elise Vandewiele toppled the Mustangs #6 singles player to cement a ranked win for the Owls.  

The Owls have a short hiatus before their next contest, as they travel to the Green Tennis Center (Mizzou) to play NCAA DI opponent Morgan State University on Thursday morning.
