LAWRENCE, Kan.- William Woods women's tennis collected two victories to start their spring break road trip, with wins over Sterling College and Baker University Saturday afternoon. The Owls dominated both games, winning by 7-0 scorelines.  

In match one, Woods took the doubles point with all three Owls' tandems winning their set. In singles play, Woods won every set played. Kristina Dimitrijevic, Chloe Hecker, Zara Littlejohn, Bieke Roovers, each won their matchups in straight sets. Lilly Hopson and Elise Vandewiele each received their victory by withdrawal.  

The Owls carried their momentum into match two on the day, facing a Heart of America Athletic Conference opponent in Baker University. William Wood secured the doubles point on stellar play from their #2 and #3 pairings in Littlejohn/Dimitrijevic and Roovers/Hecker. William Woods would go on to sweep singles play winning all but one match in consecutive sets. 

William Woods returns tomorrow with an exhibition matchup against Pratt Community College before playing Bethel College on Monday.
