FULTON, Mo.- William Woods Women's Tennis program dropped its fourth consecutive match on Saturday afternoon at the Susanne Neal Memorial Tennis Complex to Concordia (Neb.). This loss marks the first time since the return of women's tennis on the campus of William Woods University that the Owls have lost four consecutive regular season matches. 

The Woods clinched the double point on exceptional play from the back end, securing the point before the #1 pairing of Charlotte Ready and Samya Sikand could wrap up their match. Zara Littlejohn and Kristina Dimitrijevic as well as the #3 pairing of Chloe Hecker and Bieke Roovers each won their matches to give the Owls a 1-0 match lead.  

The Bulldogs of Concordia bounced back in singles play, taking all but one match from the Owls. The lone Owl to win her matchup was reigning Heart of America Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week Manon Grasset who bested her opponent in consecutive sets.  

William Woods looks to bounce back next Saturday as the Owls celebrate College Tennis Weekend and Senior Day when they host Midland University at home.
