SMITHVILLE, Mo.- In their first season in Heart of America Athletic Conference competition, William Woods men's golf secured a fourth-place finish in the championship tournament held at Paradise Point Golf Course. 

The Owls, led by senior Spencer Worley who finished in second place overall, fell 20 strokes behind the first-place Vikings of Missouri Valley College. Grand View and Mount Mercy finished second and third with scores of +3 and +4 on the three-round event.  

The next closest Owl to Worley's second-place finish was Oliver Hienonen who tied for 12th place. First-Team All-Conference player Tim Falk finished in a tie for 19th place while Eliott Auffret tied for 24thto round out The Woods' countable cards.
