GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators announced their Men's At-Large Academic All-District® team for the 2025-26 academic year. The At-Large team consists of members from a variety of sports. William Woods offers three such sports, Men's Lacrosse, Men's Golf, and Men's Wrestling, each of which placed representatives on the team.
Men's Lacrosse saw two of its program leaders be awarded the prestigious honor after their final season of competition. Senior
Xavier Dockery was named to the list for the first time as an Owl, while fellow senior
Ethan NewMyer became the first-multi-season awardee of the Academic All-District® title for the program.
Men's Golf placed two of their athletes as well. Sophomore
Tim Falk and Senior
Spencer Worley notched their first Academic All-District® nods, with Worley currently nominated for Academic All-American® status after an excellent final season that resulted in an NAIA All-American honor.
Men's Wrestling contributed the final two Owls to the 2025-26 rendition of CSC's Academic All-District® team. Sophomores
Whit Nichols and
Braden Werdehausen earned a place on the list in their first eligible seasons.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes men's at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
