FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University men's basketball team will return to action on Saturday, January 26. WWU travels to AMC rival Columbia College. The Cougars enter the afternoon undefeated and ranked atop the national rankings. Tip-off at the Southwell Complex is scheduled for 4 p.m.
The Owls (9-11, 5-2) are coming off a 66-70 defeat to visiting Missouri Baptist University on January 24.
Logan Decker (Blue Eye, Mo.) led the Owls with 17 points. Decker eclipsed the 1,500 career point mark in the loss. Damiel Armah (Accra, Ghana) recorded 16 points and 14 rebounds for the Owls.
Columbia College (21-0, 7-0) is coming off a 93-49 victory at Harris-Stowe State University on Thursday. The Cougars were led in scoring by Devin Griffin (Fairview Heights, Ill.) with 20 points.
