FULTON, Mo. -- The William Woods University men's basketball team returns to action February 9.  The Owls travel to Batesville, Ark., for an important American Midwest Conference match-up against Lyon College.  Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
 
The Owls are coming off a 68-52 victory over visiting Hannibal-LaGrange University Thursday night.  Daniel Armah led the Owls with 16 points and eight rebounds.  Jonathon Nutt and Logan Decker added 14 and 11 points respectively.
 
The Owls and Scots played earlier this season.  The Owls defeated Lyon 73-61 in Anderson Arena on January 12.  Armah led the Owls with 21 points and 16 rebounds.  Nutt, Decker and D.J. Hoskins also reached double-figures in the win.
 
Lyon enters the game 7-15 on the season and 4-7 in the AMC.  William Woods will take the court 11-13 on the year and 7-4 in league play.  The Owls are currently in third place in the AMC and sit one game behind Park University.
 
Nutt enters Saturday's contest three rebounds shy of the school record for rebounds in a career.  Adam Otto set the standard in 2011 with 361 career rebounds.  Nutt is averaging 3.1 rebounds per game this season.
