FULTON, Mo. -- The 23rd ranked William Woods University women's basketball team returns to action February 9.  The Owls travel to Batesville, Ark., for a crucial American Midwest Conference match-up against 20th ranked Lyon College.  Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.
 
The Owls are coming off an 82-47 victory over visiting Hannibal-LaGrange University Thursday night.  Priscila Santos led the Owls with 24 points and eight rebounds.  Blake French and Olivia Storjohann each added 10 points in the victory.
 
The Owls and Scots played earlier this season.  Lyon earned a 62-55 road victory on January 12.  WWU led 28-21 at the break, but were outscored 41-27 in the second half.  Storjohann led the Owls with 15 points in the first meeting.  Santos added 14 points for the Owls in the loss.
 
Lyon enters the game 21-3 on the season and 11-1 in the AMC.  William Woods will take the court 19-3 on the year and 10-2 in league play.
