FULTON, Mo.- The William Woods men's soccer team will look for its second victory in the American Midwest Conference, as the Owls play host to Benedictine University at Springfield at 2:00 p.m.
Last Time Out
The Owls (4-4; 1-0 AMC) are coming off a tough 1-0 loss to Central Methodist University, as Mykhael Bain scored the lone goal in the game in 22
nd minute for the Eagles. The team was held to just nine shots on the evening which is a season low for the Owls, and
Joao Paulo Parra led the team with five shots, two of which landing on goal.
BenU-Springfield (0-5-2; 0-3 AMC), is struggling to find the back of the net, as the Bulldogs have been outscored 23-0 over the past four games. The Bulldogs have fallen to Marian (4-0), Columbia College (6-0), Lyon College (8-0) and Lindenwood-Belleville (5-0) during its four game losing streak.
Inclement Weather On Horizon
Due to some possible storms that will hit the Fulton, Mo., area in the afternoon/evening, the men's game has been pushed up to 2:00 p.m. while the women will now play at 12:00 p.m. Also, there will be no live video/audio for tomorrow's games, but there still will be live stats.

This will be the third meeting between the two teams', with the Owls winning the previous two games by a combined score of 13-2. Last year, the Owls won 8-2, with senior

Back In Front Of The Home Crowd
The Owls return home for the first time since September 15
th, when they went 3-0 in a week defeating Culver-Stockton, Webster University and Lindenwood-Belleville.
Conference Play Begins For Owls
The team stands in second place in the American Midwest Conference, as they picked up a 3-1 victory on the road over conference newcomer Mid-Continent. After hosting the Bulldogs, the Owls welcome no. 13 ranked Hannibal-LaGrange to Firley Field on Oct 2
nd. After a trip to St. Louis to take on an improved Harris-Stowe State team, the Owls will play its second ranked team in six days, as it takes on no. 21 Columbia College on Oct. 8.
Owls Look To Get Offense Going At Home
The team plays very well in front of the home fans, as the Owls have totaled 13 goals, while holding its four opponents to three (Avila, Culver-Stockton, Webster, Lindenwood-Belleville). On the road, however, the Owls have only able to score three goals in four games against McKendree University, no. 10 Missouri Valley, Mid-Continent and Central Methodist.
Nationally Ranked In Shots Per Game
The Owls offense is averaging 16.88 shots per game, which is 40
th in the NAIA and third in the AMC. Parra leads the offense in the shot category, totaling 33 on the season, which comes out to an average of 4.13 shots per game, placing him 30
th in the nation and third in the AMC.
Players To Look Out For- William Woods
Carreiro leads the team in goals with four and is second on the team in points (9) and in shots (22).
Sebastian Burich continues to be a threat for the team up front, as the junior has totaled three goals, two assists, eight points and 16 shots in eight games. Parra is off to a strong start as well, adding three goals, four assists, for a team high 10 points.

Alex Severino are the other Owls who have contributed one goal this season and will look to add to their stat sheet tomorrow afternoon against the Bulldogs.

Robertt Butvin has totaled 565:46 minutes in net, making 20 saves and earning himself a 0.625 save percentage. Butvin has a goals against average of 1.91, while
Evan Melone who has appeared in two games for the Owls has a 0.580 GAA.
Players To Look Out For- Benedictine University At Springfield
The Bulldogs have been unable to get its offense going, totaling two goals in seven games, while allowing 27 goals. Giancarlo Faidutti and Pedro Parra are the lone players to score one goal on the season. Faidutti leads the team in shots with 16, while Parra is second on the team totaling 12.
In net, the team has used three different goalies, with Jourdan Greene getting the most minutes totaling 321:29 in five starts and six appearances. The sophomore goalie has allowed 19 goals and has made 23 saves on the season.
