In the second frame, the Owls were able to extend its lead out to 2-0, as Paulo Conelian found the back of the net from 25 yards out. In the 75th minute, Matheus Schmid took a shot that was blocked by a Hornet defender inside the box, but the ball carried over to Anthony Moscatello and he was able to hit a one timer past HSSU goalie, Ezekial Sevcik, to make it 3-0 WWU.

Then, just over one minute later, Harrison Bray received a pass and he was able to cross the ball into the box, which found the head of senior Jacob Hawes and the O'Fallon, Missouri, native, was able to flick in his sixth goal of the year, to push the Owls lead out to 4-0.
