Less than 10:00 minutes later, a foul was called inside the Ottawa box on a WWU player, which awarded a penalty kick for the Owls. Senior
Alan Matthew stepped up for the team and scored his second goal on the year, pushing the advantage to 4-0.
The offense continued to keep the ball on the Braves end as the clock continued to tick down, but before the final horn sounded, a great display of passing from Schmid, to
Sebastian Burich, found the foot of
Anthony Moscatello, who blasted his shot from just outside the box, into the upper right corner of the net, giving WWU a 5-0 lead and win.
