Bray's game winner in overtime against John Brown, was his first collegiate goal with the Owls.
Box Score SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark.— The William Woods University men's soccer team kept its undefeated season alive, while also extending its shutout streak to three games, as the Owls defeated John Brown University 1-0 (OT) on Friday night.

Despite being outshot 19-8 in the game and dealing with a capacity crowd, due to it being the first game ever under the lights in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, the Owls were able to silence the crowd and escape with a one goal victory.

In the first half, JBU outshot the Owls 7-5, but WWU freshman goaltender Conor Cable kept the game scoreless, as he made four saves. Jacob Hawes led the team with three shots in the first 45:00 minutes of play, while Anthony Moscatello, contributed two.

The Golden Eagles fed off the fans and controlled the second half, outshooting the Owls 12-2, but again, Cable made four more saves and the Owls defense kept the shutout intact, so it was off to overtime.

Then, just one minute and 12 seconds into overtime, Brett Hodges received the ball just outside the 18 yard box and he was able to find freshman Harrison Bray, who blasted his lone shot of the game into the upper left corner of the net, past Golden Eagle goaltender Adam Holt, giving the Owls a 1-0 victory.

Hawes led the offense with three shots, while Moscatello added two and Paulo Conelian, Luca Stroeter, and Bray each contributed one. Cable was spectacular in net for WWU, as the Spalding, England, native, made a career-high eight saves.

JBU was led by forward Martin Gonzalez, totaling a game-high seven shots (four on goal), while Marco Cardona added four shots and Eli Simonsen came in with three shots.

The Owls will now look to extend its three-game winning streak on Tuesday September 9th, as the Owls host Central Methodist University. Kick-off will start at 7 p.m.
