FULTON, Mo. - The William Woods University Women's Basketball team look to extend their three game winning streak when they host Harris-Stowe State University in an AMC contest on Sunday, December 4 at 1 p.m. at Anderson Arena.
ABOUT THE OWLS
-Â The Owls enter the AMC contest with an overall record of 5-3 and a conference record of 2-1
- WWU is coming off a 84-67 victory over AMC opponent Missouri Baptist University on Thursday, Dec. 1st

Jasmine Brown continues to add to her stats leading the Owls in four categories. Brown is averaging 14.4 points per game, has a total of 60 rebounds, 13 steals, and nine blocks

Kaycee Gerald is leading the Owls in assists with 29 on the season and is averaging 3.6 assists per game

Kelsey Scherder is leading the Owls in three-point field goals made with 16 on the season. She also has 30 rebounds, 15 assists, and six steals
-Â William Woods finds itself ranked seventh in the nation in Assists/Turnover Ratio (1.26)
- WWU is shooting 42.9 percent from the field, on the season. This is the 20th best mark in the NAIA and is second best in the American Midwest Conference.
ABOUT THE HORNETS
- The Hornets enter the contest with an overall 4-4 record and an AMC record of 1-2
- Angela Randall is leading the Hornets, as well as the conference, in assists with 42 (13th in the nation), averaging 5.25 assists a game
- Brionna Taylor leads the Hornets in two categories: points and rebounds. Taylor is averaging 13.6 points per game and has 69 rebounds and is averaging 8.6 rebounds per game
- As a team, the Hornets are ranked ninth in the nation in offensive rebounds per game with 16 per game and is also 12th in the nation with a total of 45 rebounds per game
- Harris-Stowe is holding opponents to shoot 25.2 percent from behind the three point line this season, which is the 12th best in the nation
- HSSU has recorded 33 blocks in its eight games this season, averaging 4.1 blocks per game. Both of these rank in the top 15 of the NAIA
LAST YEARS MEETINGS
Last year the Owls and Hornets squared off three times. The Hornets won two of the three meetings against the Owls, including knocking the Owls out of the AMC Tournament last march.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Owls will return to action on December 13th when they travel to Hannibal, Missouri to face Hannibal-LaGrange University in American Midwest Conference action. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
