FULTON, Mo. – After an icy weekend in mid-Missouri pushed the William Woods University women's basketball game back two days, the Owls will host No. 12 Columbia College on Monday, January 16th in the American Midwest Conference Game of the Week. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m. at Anderson Arena.

About the Owls
- WWU enters this weeks' games with an 11-5 overall record and 8-3 in the AMC. The 8-3 AMC record has the Owls in a four-way tie for third place in the conference. They are tied with Columbia, Harris-Stowe, and Lindenwood-Belleville
- The Owls got back into the win column on Thursday when they defeated Stephen College, 58-45

- Columbia College enters the AMC Game of the Week with a 14-3 record and an 8-3 mark in conference play. They are tied with William Woods, Lindenwood-Belleville and Harris-Stowe for third place in the AMC
- The Cougars came away with a 92-75 victory on Thursday night against Park University. It was the Cougars have won its last two games. Its last loss came on January 5th to No. 1 Freed-Hardeman, 67-44
- Columbia is averaging 75.6 points per game on the offensive end and are holding opponents to 54.8 points per game. Leading the Cougars offensively is Jordan Alford who is averaging 14.5 points per game on the season.
