- Lyon has won its last four contest. The last loss for the Scots came on December 29th when No. 1 Freed-Hardeman defeated Lyon, 61-49
- Madison Riley is leading the Scots in points per game averaging 9.5 points. Riley also averages 4.1 rebound, 2.7 assists, 1.4 steals per game

The Owls and Scots have squared off one this season, on November 17th. Lyon came away with a 78-64 victory over the Owls.
Peyton Greenlee led the Owls with 15 points in the contest. WWU shot 43 percent from the floor in the contest.
What's Next
The Owls will continue at home on Saturday January 21st against Central Baptist College tip-off set at 1 p.m. At halftime, William Woods University will honor its 2017 Hall of Fame Class.
