FULTON, Mo. — The William Woods University women's basketball team hosts No. 1 Freed-Hardeman University on Saturday, February 18 in their last regular season home game tip-off scheduled for 1 p.m. Senior day will also be celebrated after the game.

About the Owls
- The Owls move to an overall record of 18-8 with an AMC record of 15-6 after defeating Williams Baptist College, 73-67, on Thursday night
- As a team, the Owls are ranked fourth in the nation in defensive rebounds averaging 30.64 on the season
- Jasmine Brown is ranked ninth in field goal percentage shooting at 55.1 percent. Brown also leads the Owls in blocks with 30 on the season, where she had a season-high five blocks Tuesday night at Lindenwood-Belleville
- Earlier this season the Owls and Lady Lions met and Freed-Hardeman came away with a 62-50 victory. April Gebke scored 12 points against the Lions when they met earlier in the season, teammate Kelsey Scherder was the only other Owl to score double digits
- On the season the Owls are averaging 72.4 points per game. WWU is led in scoring by Jasmine Brown, who is averaging 14.7 points per game. Peyton Greenlee is the only other Owl in double-figures as she scoring 10.8 points per game
- On the season, the Owls are averaging 6.8 three point makes per game. WWU has three players who have made 35 or more threes on the season, led by Kelsey Scherder with 41 threes
 
About the Lady Lions
- The Lions have been undefeated all season with an overall record of 27-0 and an AMC record of 21-0
- Kim Mallory is currently leading the AMC in points averaging 17.08 points per game and a field goal percentage of 41%. Mallory is also ranked ninth in total points scored with 444 on the season
- Teammate Tiffany Pate is leading the AMC in rebounds collecting 273 averaging about 10.5 rebounds per game
- As a team, the Lions are ranked fifth in blocks with 112 Tiffany Pate leading averaging 2.8 blocks per game, collecting 75 blocks in the season (third in the nation)
- The Lady Lions are only allowing 48.6 points per game, which is the fewest in the AMC
- On the offensive end, Freed-Hardeman is averaging 74.0 points per game. They are shooting 39.5 percent from the floor this season
