Box Score TOPEKA, Kan. – The William Woods University women's tennis team suffered its first loss of the spring season as they were defeated, 8-1, by NCAA Division II Washburn University on Wednesday afternoon at the Topeka Country Club.
In the match the Owls lone point of the match came in doubles action. After dropping No. 1 doubles, the Owls came back and took No. 2 doubles tying the match at 1-1. Washburn took No. 3 doubles and led 2-1 after doubles: Below are the double results:
