Women's Basketball Hosts No. 25 Lindenwood-Belleville

FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's basketball team will host Lindenwood University-Belleville on Tuesday, February 13. Tip-off is set for 5:30 p.m.
 
About the Owls
- WWU enters the matchup with a 15-10 overall record and are 12-7 in AMC play
- WWU is coming into the contest after suffering a ten-point loss, 67-57, to Harris-Stowe last Thursday
- In its previous meeting with the Lady Lynx, WWU was defeated 86-68
- The Owls sit in fifth place in the AMC. They hold a two game lead over sixth seed Missouri Baptist
- The Owls are shooting 74.5 percent from the free throw line on the season, which is the eighth best mark in the nation
- William Woods is shooting 41.5 percent from the floor on the season, which is the 33rd best mark in the nation
- Senior Jasmine Brown ranks 12th in the nation in blocks with 40 on the season
- WWU has three players scoring in double-figures on the season. Leading the charge is Brown who is averaging 13.0 points per game. Peyton Greenlee follows averaging 12.2 and Kaycee Gerald rounds out the double figure scorers averaging 11.3 points per game
- On the season, the Owls are averaging 69.1 points per game. WWU scored a season-high 99 points on November 16th against Stephens
- Opponents are scoring 65.9 points against the Owls and are shooting 38.7 percent from the floor
 
About the Lady Lynx
- The Lady Lynx are 18-6 overall and are 15-4 in the AMC
- Lindenwood-Belleville is tied for third in the AMC
- The Lady Lynx four losses were against Columbia (58-47 & 73-63), Lyon (76-75 OT), and Freed-Hardeman (69-68)
- The Lady Lynx are number one in the nation in field goal percentage shooting at 49.1 percent from the floor
- Alison Webb leads the Lady Lynx ranking third in the nation with a 58 percent from the floor. Webb also ranks third in the NAIA in rebounds per game averaging 11.79 rebounds per game. She is also third in the NAIA in total rebounds collecting 283 rebounds in the season
- The Lynx are 19th in the nation in free throw percentage shooting at 71 percent from the line.
- LU-B has two players ranked in the top 20 in three-point field goal percentage. Torre Kohrmann is ranked 16th shooting 43 percent from the arc and Brianna Mueller is ranked 19th shooting at a 42 percent from the arc.
- As a team, they are ranked 30th in the nation in three pointers made draining 161 threes in the season. Brianna Mueller leads the Lady Lynx with 60 threes made and is ranked 16th in the nation
- Opponents are scoring 64.0 points against the Lady Lynx are shooting 39.3 percent

The Owls will travel to Conway, Arkansas to face the Mustangs of Central Baptist College on Thursday, February 15. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
