Box Score COLUMBIA, Ky. – The William Woods University women's tennis team was defeated by the Blue Raiders of Lindsey Wilson College, 5-1. Lindsey Wilson is ranked No. 2 in the nation.

WWU trailed early as they were defeated in No. 1 and No. 2 doubles. WWU got its lone point in No. 3 doubles when Ana Zavala and Felicia Cesar defeated Lucia Mora Diaz and Gabriella Pedroza, 8-5.
 
Moving to singles, the Blue Raiders took the first three matches. Lindsey Wilson took No. 3, No. 1 and No. 2 singles taking the match, 5-1, over the Owls.  
 
The fourth, fifth and sixth singles action were not finished.
 
William Woods returns to action on Monday, March 5th when they face No. 1 Georgia Gwinnett College. The match against the Grizzlies is set to start at 10 a.m. ET.
