FULTON, Mo. – After playing its last four games at the GoSarpy.com Labor Day Tournament, the William Woods University volleyball team returns to Anderson Arena on Tuesday, September 4th to face Avila University. First serve is set for 6 p.m.

GoSarpy.com Labor Day Classic
For the sixth straight season, the Owls traveled to Bellevue, Neb. to participate in the GoSarpy.com Labor Day Classic hosted by Bellevue University. The Owls opened the tournament wit ha 3-0 sweep of IU-South Bend. However, the win over IU-South Bend would be the only win at the tournament. The Owls lost to No. 2 Dordt (Iowa), Providence (Mont.) and Carroll (Mont.).

First of Two Matchups
Tuesday's match against Avila will be the first of two times the Owls and Eagles meet this season. The Owls will travel to Avila University on September 14th to participate in the Avila University Triangular. WWU will face Cottey College before playing Avila for the second time this season.

Last season the Owls faced Avila at the Missouri Valley Tournament in late October. The Owls came away with a sweep of the Eagles 3-0 (25-18, 25-16, 25-16).
