FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's basketball team returns to action Saturday, Jan. 12
th as they face St. Louis Pharmacy. Tip-off is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Anderson Arena.

There will be free admission Saturday afternoon due to the induction of the 2019 WWU Hall of Fame. The ceremony will be held
Sunday, Jan. 13th in Cutlip Auditorium in the McNutt Campus Center. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. and the ceremony will begin at 10:00 a.m.
About St. Louis Pharmacy
The Eutectics enter the contest 5-11 overall and 1-9 in AMC play. Pharmacy got off to a hot start early in the season winning their first two games. Their first game of the season they defeated Central Christian College 112-39. On Nov. 1
st they got their second straight win over Missouri Valley defeating them 65-64.
Since the new year, they have loss three straight. Their most recent game was on Tuesday, Jan. 8
th when they fell 72-57 to Stephens College.
Leading the way for the Eutectics, is Allison Dewald who is currently averaging 13.9 points a contest. In the first two games of the season, she scored 23 points. Last time out she posted 18 points on 7-15 shooting.
Following right behind Dewald, is Morgan Rose whose 12.9 points per game put her second on the team in scoring. In the first game of the season, she posted a season high 30 points in their win over Central Christian College.
Also playing well for St. Louis Pharmacy is Michon Forrest who is averaging 11.3ppg and Morgan Dermody who is fourth on the team in scoring with an average of 10ppg.
About William Woods
After a rough start to the new year, the Owls have won their last two games. On Tuesday, Jan. 8
th, they defeated Lindenwood-Belleville 64-52 and Hannibal-LaGrange 67-51 on Jan. 10
th. With those wins, WWU is now 10-6 overall and 6-4 in the AMC.
Peyton Greenlee is currently leading the Owls with 14.2ppg. In their win over Hannibal-LaGrange she recorded 15 points and 10 rebounds. Greenlee is currently 44 points away from scoring her 1000
th career basket.
Kaycee Gerald is also playing very well for WWU. Her 10.5ppg puts her second on the team in scoring. She is leading the team with 32 total steals. Last time out she posted 11 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists.
In the last few games,
Kasey Hazell has stepped up big for the Owls. In their win over Lindenwood-Belleville, she captured her second career double-double dropping 10 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
A win over St. Louis Pharmacy, will give the Owls their seventh straight home victory. William Woods is currently 6-0 at home.
