RV Owls Look For Their 10th Home Win Thursday Against No. 17 Lyon

FULTON, Mo. – The William Woods University women's basketball team is set to host No. 17 Lyon College (Ark.) at Anderson Arena on Thursday, February 14. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
 
About Lyon College
The Scots have an overall record of 21-4 and are 17-3 in conference play. Lyon is ranked third in the AMC, with their most recent loss against Freed-Hardeman (No.2) on February 9. They pulled out a win against Central Baptist College February 12, 71-57.
 
As a team, the Scots hold four top-five rankings. They rank 1st in the NAIA in total rebound defense (28.24), 1st in field goal percentage (0.482), 2nd in 3-point field goal percentage (0.398), and 4th in free throw percentage (0.772).

The Owls just came off a loss to Lindenwood-Belleville, losing 58-53. They are still receiving votes in the NAIA Top-25 Coaches' Poll and are sitting with a 16-10 overall record. The Owls are now tied with Lindenwood-Belleville for fourth in the AMC both having a record of 12-8.
