COLUMBIA, Mo. – The William Woods University men and women's track team competed today at the Missouri Collegiate Challenge hosted by Missouri University. Kimi Putnam, Hannah Ehlinger and Denver Horn all represented the Owls at the event.
 
Putnam placed 10^th and of 18 in the 3,000-meter run with a time of 11:33.96. Ehlinger represented WWU in the high jump, jumping 1.45 meters for an 8^th place tie. Denver Horn finished 6^th out of 20 in the long jump with a 6.93-meter finish. Horn missed the NAIA "B" Standard by .02 meters.
 
All three WWU participants did not qualify for the NAIA National Championships. They will compete next Mar.16^th when they head to Fayette, Mo. to compete in the Central Methodist Open.
