WARRENSBURG, Mo. - William Woods Track and Field teams competed at the University of Central Missouri Kip and Kirk Outdoor Mule Relays on April 9th and 10th. Against excellent competition, the Owls held their own and continue to improve as the outdoor season persists.
The highlight of the weekend was a new William Woods T&F record being set by
Colten Crocker in the men's pole vault after reaching a height of 4.15 meters, finishing 17th overall.
Kyle Hagemeyer notched the highest individual placement of the invitational, placing third in the men's 5000 open with a time of 15.37.72.Â
Isiah Craighead finished 5th overall in the men's javelin, throwing for a distance of 57.17 meters. Similarly,
Emma Fischer placed 5th in the women's javelin with a final number of 39.56 meters.Â
Sarah Backes excelled once again in the women's high jump with a score of 1.50 meters, placing sixth. In the men's 110 meter hurdles,
Jacob Fuhriman also earned sixth place with a time of 15.31.
