Box Score FULTON, Mo. – The No. 7 William Woods tennis team upset No. 4 Lindsey Wilson College (Ky.) on Monday afternoon, 5-4.

The Owls went 2-1 up after doubles action with wins coming from the No. 2 and No. 3 teams. Julia Perez and Karyna Sagalai picked up the Owls first victory with an 8-0 sweep. Following Chelsea Steward and Felicia Cesar claimed an 8-5 win over the Raiders.
 
On the singles side, the Owls took three of the six matches. In the No. 1 spot, Zlata Shuraeva downed her opponent 6-4, 6-2. Karyna Sagalai swept her opponent 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 6 spot. To clinch the match, Chelsea Steward pulled out a 6-3, 6-4 victory in the No. 5 spot.
 
The Owls will head to Indiana for matches on Friday and Saturday at the Indiana Wesleyan Invite.
